Challenged by rocky soil and strong winds, the vines respond with low yields of exceptional grapes that ripen slowly to develop intense flavours
Aromas of green grass, tropical fruits and gooseberry are captured in the bottle and burst from the glass. Then the palate is full and fruity, balanced by crisp acidity and the distinctive mineral tone of the Awatere Valley, rounded off by with a long dry finish
