An exceptional mixed case of 6 white wines consisting of:
- 3 bottles of Boreham Wood Single Vineyard 2008 Pinot Gris
- 3 bottles of Boreham Wood Single Vineyard 2008 Riesling
An excellent opportunity to purchase a mixed case of 6 bottles of limited edition white wines from the Marlborough region.
The Pinot Gris was hand picked then left at the Winery to rest overnight, before being whole bunched pressed in the cool of the morning. Aromas of peach, pear and honeysuckle are immediately evident with hints of brown sugar, honey and fresh fig.
A full-bodied palate with soft acidity and a creamy-mouth feel with a hint of strawberries on the finish.
The Riesling was also hand picked late in the season off young vines planted on stony river gravels. Distinctly perfumed with homey, citrus blossom and elegant jasmine, the aromatics of the wine are instantly inviting. Flavours of lemon, florals and honey are backed by a crisp acidity and a fresh lasting finish.
A limited quantity only of this rich and luscious wine was produced.
